Applied Learning Programme

Townsville Primary School’s Applied Learning Programme (ALP), “iDARE2 to be a Critical, Adaptive and Inventive Thinker,” nurtures students who can think critically, adapt to evolving circumstances, and generate creative solutions to real-world challenges.

Grounded in the Townsville Thinking Curriculum, the programme infuses habits of critical, adaptive and inventive thinking into their everyday learning.

Through our Curriculum Infusion lessons and the Interdisciplinary Project Work (Project IGNITE) framework, students apply their learning across disciplines to address authentic issues. These experiences empower them to become reflective, self-directed and future-ready learners.
